Norway and LTTE isolatedThe LTTE is banned by the USA, Australia, India and the European Union. Norway's fight to avoid a LTTE terrorist listing failed miserably and the LTTE and Norway is now isolated. With the exemption of Norway, Iceland and Switzerland murder of children, civilians and politicians is viewed to be terrorism. Despite of Norway's support of the LTTE terrorism the LTTE is targeting Norwegians. In Norway Norwegians are threatened at gun point by the LTTE and the LTTE propaganda apparatus is issuing death threats against Norwegian citizens. In Sri Lanka the LTTE is targeting Norwegians in the SLMM and it is only a matter of time before the first body bags of Norwegian LTTE victims is sent back to Norway. Erik Solheim has ignored request from Tamil dissidents to stop the LTTE genocide. Erik Solheim is obviously willing to sacrifice any number of life's in Sri Lanka to protect his friendship with the fascist LTTE terrorists. It seems Erik Solheim is willing to sacrifice the lives of Norwegians. Erik Solheim has become the modern version of Vidkun Quisling, the Norwegian traitor, who sacrificed the lives of Norwegians for Quisling friendship with the fascist Hitler regime. The Norwegian support of the LTTE terrorism and other terrorist organisation has made the USA to request Norway "to evaluate their future relationship with the USA". Norwegian support to LTTENorway is supporting the terrorist group LTTE in the conflict in Sri Lanka. Norway has supported LTTE financially, with equipment and made every effort to make this terrorist organisation a "legitimate" negotiation partner.
Norway has participated in smuggling of high-tech communication equipment to the terrorist organisation. Norwegian generals have also given sensitive information to the LTTE terrorist leaders. General Trygve Tellefsen leaked information about the Navy’s pursuit of a LTTE arms smuggling ship to the Tamil rebel group allowing them to escape. After the incident President Chandrika Kumaratunga wrote to the Norwegian Prime Minister, Kjell Magne Bondevik to remove the Head of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission, Retired Major General Trygve Tellefsen. The Norwegian generals Trygve Tellefsen and Trond Furuhovde have been involved in the conflict in Sri Lanka and favoured the LTTE. Norway has also invited the Tamil tigers to Norwegian military camps to see Norwegian military demonstrate their skills and equipment. Telephone wiretaps has revealed the close cooperation between the Norway and the LTTE terrorist leaders. Wiretap 1. Norwegian ambassador Jon Westborg and Duleep from the Terrorist organisation LTTE. In this wiretap the ambassador gives information about the communication equipment and inform that the Norwegian's will pay for the added costs. The reveals a discussion with the Norwegian Ambassador who speaks to Duleep of LTTE about the transmission equipment that has been “dealt with and explained and arranged with Mr. Bradman Weerakoon.” A total of six tons of electronic equipment was delivered to the LTTE in 2002, including V-Sat equipment used in satellite communications. The conversation also revolves around a document that has been signed by Tamilchelvam and another is requested to be mailed to the ambassador’s residence and not to the embassy. The equipment received from Norway is according to Indian intelligence sources contacted by the Asiantribune is used actively in the terror against their political opposition: www.asiantribune.com/show_news.php?id=10493 In a meeting with the WAPS organisation the 23rd August Erik Solheim could not confirm that the "peace process" gift from Norway now is used for these purposes. He said " I am not an electronic expert, so I do not know". The Norwegian constitutional committee should immediately start an investigation into this matter. If the Indian report is found correct, Norway should do as Libya, admit responsibility and pay the victims compensation. Wiretap 2. Norwegian general Trond Furuhovde and LTTE political leader Puleedevan.
Sensitive information is given to the terrorist leader and the Norwegian general
are coaching the terrorist leader to give the blame on the latest terrorist
action to a "third party" with stolen uniforms!
The general also states, “I’m using
all their resources to calm down the Sinhalese part of the population” and
requests Puleedevan to Both wiretaps are made in the autumn 2002. After these wiretaps nobody can be in doubt of the illegal Norwegian support of the LTTE terrorists. It's a tragedy that Norway is giving one of the worst terrorist organisations legitimacy as a negotiation partner. Training of Sea TigersNorwegian ex-Special Forces have also been used to train Sea Tigers to attack Sri Lanka. The IPS news service said, the LTTE is known to have used Thailand’s Andaman coast “to strengthen its capability to attack Sri Lanka’s Navy. That included the training that members of its sea Tiger Wing allegedly received from Norwegian ex-special forces to launch underwater demolition strikes.” Thai Police has also confiscated weapons from LTTE operatives. These weapons are the same type of weapons used by the Norwegian Special Forces. Among the confiscated weapons were Swedish Carl Gustav missile launchers (The type that are used by the Norwegian Army), HK Mark 23's and Glock's with silencers (also used by Norwegian Special Forces and SWAT teams). The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also invited the LTTE to a Norwegian army base to participate in military demonstrations. The military value of this visit to the Rena military camp is limited if they only received information as described in the military propaganda video. However the propaganda value is huge. Take a look at this video from the Norwegian army of the Tamil Tigers visit. About the Tamil tigersThe Tamil tigers (LTTE) are responsible for terrorist activities in Sri Lanka and India. This organisation has made 168 suicide attacks in the period 1978-2000. LTTE is working actively in Norway and it's likely that several terrorist attacks is financed with funds raised in Norway. Among their activities are political work with the peace process and fundraising in the increasing Tamil community in Norway. Background information The LTTE is famous for it's violations of human rights. They kidnap children and use them as childsoldiers. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch has appealed to the LTTE organisations in Norway and Internationally to abolish the use of children in their terrorism. The 7th July 2004 Amnesty again published a disturbing report about the LTTE beating the families of small children so they could use their children as soldiers. Link to the Amnesty report. LTTE in NorwayIt is possible to trace fundraising and bank accounts to the LTTE organisations the last 20 years. Bank accounts in Den norske Creditbank, Bergenbank and Sparebanken Midt-Norge was found before the 1990. Aftenposten, a major Norwegian newspaper, revealed in an article in 2001 that Norwegian authorities have been allowing transfer of funds to the Tamil Tigers, Hamas, ETA and other terrorist organisations. "Those missing were apparently overlooked on the UN list, and Norwegian authorities have been reluctant to add them for fear of unfairly exposing innocent bank customers, and risking damage claims." Even in 2004 there are no restrictions of transfers of funds to the LTTE from Norway. According to LTTE they have six offices in Norway. The LTTE is hiding under more legitimate organisation like the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO) and The Tamil Coordinating Committee (TCC). Fifty persons works in the TCC network in Norway. The LTTE also has a significant Norwegian support structure for fundraising and propaganda activities. LTTE fundraising in Norway is estimated that more than 5 million US dollars. The increasing Tamil community (10.000 ++) in Norway is paying fees to LTTE and LTTE is involved in business activities in Norway. The LTTE propaganda activities have been successful in Norway. It is quite obvious the LTTE have been able to sell "their story" to the Norwegians and received the support of the Norwegian government and military. With more than 10.000 Tamils in Norway, LTTE has become a political important partner for Norwegian political parties. LTTE front organisations in Norway have received millions of Norwegian Kroner from the Norwegian Government and Municipalities, allegedly to support their cultural and integration activities. LTTE threats in NorwayIn our Norwegian webpage www.svik.org/ltteno.htm we describe in more details the LTTE threats in Norway. The LTTE behaviour in Norway has been better than in other European countries when it comes to involvement in organised crime and we assume this has been a political decision from the LTTE leadership in order to win political goodwill. However there have been several instances of violence and threats against individuals, opposition groups and police officers. LTTE murders and torture of EuropeansIn October 2004 LTTE murdered Hans Ulris Herpos, a 61 year old Swiss national. It seems the murder was carefully planned by the LTTE and the purpose was to blame the murder on the new party TMVP. Shortly after the murder the Norwegian based LTTE sympathising journalist N. Sethu (info) sent out an email where he said to the e-mail recipients to blame the murder on the new party "Tamil Eela Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal". However in their stupidity the LTTE had already extorted the old Swiss national so it was easy for the police to trace the murder to the LTTE. The LTTE also tortured two Danish nationals. Fortunately the Danish Foreign office was able to get the LTTE to release the two Danish citizens. After the torture of the two Danish citizens it was revealed that LTTE front organisations are used to spy on Danish nationals. One of the front organisations involved in the spying has now been raided by the Danish police. Colonel Karuna on the Norwegian "Peace brokers"In an interview with Thamil Broadcasting Corporation 9th of July 2004 Colonel Karuna said Norway was very important for the LTTE financing of terrorism. He is quoted in the Asian tribune: "In conclusion what do you wish to say to the people of the North and East?
