Al-Qaida threatens Norway

Norway has become a terrorist target after several Al-Qaida threats. 

It sounds strange that Norway, a country that have been financing  terrorist activities and provided a harbour for terrorist's, could become a terrorist target.

If Al-Qaida commit an act of Terror in Norway it is unlikely that it will be a political target. Terror experts think that cruise vessels are likely targets. The ship owners have now received strict guidelines to protect their passengers, but it will be close to impossible to protect a cruise vessel from acts of terror. 

However the PST (Norwegian Secret Police) thinks that the terror treat against Norway is low.

ETA threatens Norway

The Spanish terrorist organisation ETA sent a letter to the Norwegian Embassy in Madrid in April 2004 warning that Norwegian tourist will be targeted. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes the threats seriously, but will not warn Norwegian tourist travelling to Spain. The ETA threats prove that the Norwegian terror friendly politics has failed. Norway have allowed transfer of funds from Norway to ETA, if Norwegian tourist get killed in ETA terror attacks, then even the Norwegian government must admit ETA is a terrorist organisation.

 

Security for foreign nationals in Norway

Employees in the US Embassy has do work behind barricades, afraid of terroist. Outside in the sunshine, Mullah Krekar is smiling and organising his activites. Ansar Al-Islam terrorist are killing American soliders every day in Iraq.
The US Embassy in Norway is  barricaded with concrete blocks and fences. Heavily armed police and US Marines, and state of the art surveillance equipment is protecting the Embassy. It looks like a war zone.

Not every nation is sharing the Norwegian Police view about the terror treat in Norway. The American Embassy, Embassy of Israel and the Russian Embassy are more secure than a high security prison. 

Meanwhile Mullah Krekar and other members of Ansar Al Islam and other members  in alleged terrorist organisation can continue to organise their activities from Norway.

Conclusion

The Norwegian authorities do not take the terror threat seriously. Norway continues to provide a safe harbour for terrorist organisation and hope that they will not turn against Norway. While Norway in international arenas claims they are fighting terrorism.

The SVIK organisation thinks that the Norwegian terrorist support is outrageous. Norway should not forget the millions of Americans and Russians that gave their life so Norway could get liberated from the German occupation in the Second Word War. Norway  received substantial foreign aid from the US after the World War  and US companies did build up our oil industry. 

How many Chechen bombs in Moscow or other terrorist attacks, planed and financed in Norway, must occur before Russia and USA take action against the Norwegian Government?
